We are blessed to enjoy diversity in our congregation yet the foundation that glues us all together is our love and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[b] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no commandment greater than these.”
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
We believe that every person needs to enter into a personal relationship with the Lord. When our relationship with the Lord is right, that will spill over into all of our other relationships!
We believe that each person needs to be discipled, that is to grow closer and follow the teachings of our Lord. Discipleship opportunities happen in our LIFE GROUPS, Sunday School classes for all ages, our Midweek Prayer Service, and our Sunday Corporate Worship Service!
We believe that every person in the body of Christ has been saved to serve. It is necessary to get involved in the life of the church and to use one’s gifts for the glory of God and the edification of the believers. There are so many service opportunities available. There is a place for you at The First Door of Faith Church!
